Would this work well for a tattoo?
I’ve been thinking about getting this design as a tattoo for several years now. I was wondering if if would work well and where I should put it. I am a girl, and I have a highly professional job, so it must be in a place that can easily be covered. Thanks for the advice!

I think it would be beautiful if you got the right tattoo artist to do it for you. If you have had this in mind for several years now then you obviously know what you want….get it!!! Usually the tattoos that you want to keep covered up at work, but exposed when your not, go on or near the shoulder blade. But you could put it any where on your back or maybe your rib cage, (but be careful ribs can hurt a little) . hope this helped.
If you’re looking to get all that detail in there, you better be prepared to go BIG. Otherwise you’ll have a cross shaped blob within a matter of a year or two. Possibly less. The right artist would also be crucial.
I think your avatar would work well too.
I would go with your back but expect the artist to take a bunch of that detail out.
Thats a great design but like she said go big or simplify. Around the belly button? between shoulder blades. Too big for inside your wrist.
It would need to be quite a bit bigger than the attached picture in order for the artist to get the details across, which will limit the places you could put it, especially if you want to be able to cover it up. Your back is an obvious one, but that could make wearing white shirts to work tricky. You could put it on your stomach, but the same white shirt thing would apply, and it may not ever look the same after a pregnancy.
That’s pretty detailed. Gotta go big or lose some of the finer work in it. If your hair is long enough you could go back of the neck to shoulder blades and no one at the office would know.
It would work but like someone else said and I always say GO BIG. As for placement well it depends how big you are or how small you are I say do it and go talk to a tattoo artist about size and placement.
that looks very intricate. you will probably need to go really big for the details to be very noticeable. i also like my tattoos covered, just because they are for me. if you may be like me, i want the best skin that will not wrinkle or sag with age. i prefer all mine on my back. but that might look really hot on your rib cage. just a thought.
I agree with the first comment, If you want all that detail in the tattoo it will have to be big, and you will need to find a fine parlour….
Good luck
it should work and u could put it on your ankle
itz really nice but it iz not thr best
maybe u should add more colors to it the colors are so dull
If you want all of the detail and color it would have to be bigger, so i think maybe your ribcage or something…….easy to hid. But if you just want it small and just an outline it would look really cute on the back of your neck. Mine tattoo is there and is easily hidden by my hair.
