What would it feel like getting a tattoo along my spine?

I want to get "robur et veneratio" tattooed on me and i like the idea of it going down the middle of my back and i was just wondering if it would feel more painful along my spine. I have alot of friends with tattoos and they said that it didn’t really hurt getting there tattoo until the needle ran over a part of there body such as their shin or the outside of their forearm where there is no muscle or fat between the skin and the bone. Just wondering. Thanks.

I have a tattoo down my spine in hebrew writing It was not painful as such it was a little uncomfortable. At the beginning it feels like little cat scratches but as time goes on you get used to it. Hope this helps.

I’ve also got a spine tattoo planned (from hairline to butt crack) and have been told by plenty it’s going to hurt like a mutha.
I got one and it’s about 18in by 18 in and it hurt but was not that bad.
Feel more painful than WHAT? That’s a very subjective question. Lots of people say tattoos don’t hurt, others cry when they’re under the gun, as it were. Depends on who you are, what you’re like and how much pain you can handle.
If you mean hurt more than one on your upper back, very likely. More than one on your outer bicep, very likely. More than one on your neck or ribs… probably not.
