You could do an old-school (manual) typewriter with paper coming out the back that fades into a musical bar with notes on it. Something swirly as it waves around and eventually fades away. That's if you are set on combining the two. If not, you could separate the ideas into two very special and meaningful pieces. It's tough to give advice without knowing if you have other ink already, what you like (old school, new/old school, biomech, etc).
