What is the best tattoo and piercing shop?

I want to get my nose pierced, my lip pierced and a tattoo on my back what is the best place for getting tattoos and piercing? And how much do they cost? I am looking for a place in Henderson, Tyler or Longview, Texas.

You don’t want to go to a place because some stranger on the internet feels it is the best shop. I would suggest visting mulitple shops in your area and checking them out. Look at the artists work, speak with them, ask questions and see how helpful, nice they are about answering your questions, does the place look clean, do you feel comfortable there and with the people. Also bring your ideas and images for your tattoo and talk with the tattoo artist and let them draw up your piece. Once you see what they have drawn up you will help you get an idea of their work and capabilities. Again I would go to multiple shops and have multiple artist draw up your piece so you can compare work and determine what artist you like the best and who you want to do the work. Most artist charge a fee for drawing up the piece and end up putting that fee towards the cost your tattoo if u go with them and if you don’t then its just a fee you don’t get back. But in my opinion, spending that money even if you don’t go with them and don’t get it back, is well worth it. I would rather spend the little amount of money to find out they suck, then spend alot of money and have something permenant on me and find out they suck. And since a tattoo is something you have for life it is worth spending the time and money on it to make sure your happy for life with it.
Again, visit MULTIPLE stores and make sure your comfortable and have complete faith in your artist, don’t just base it off of what stragers say on yahoo answers.
Oh, and as for the cost part of your question. There is no way we can answer that. It varies shop to shop, artist to artist. Just don’t be cheap or you will get cheap work.
