What is a good tattoo to symbolize friendship?

My best-friend and I have been friends for 15 years. I turned 18 a few months ago and we have been talking about getting matching tattoos to symbolize our friendship ever since. The problem is we are having trouble picking out the tattoo. We have looked at words,phrases,symbols,and pictures. Does anyone have any cute ideas for a tattoo that symbolizes friendship for two girls?

It could be anything. if it were me and im friend id get a stick figure because we have inside jokes that involve stick figures

get each others initials on an angel or a ring
the word friendship….or just write it in chinese nobody will understand it anyway…and it looks cool

Do the cheesy thing where you get one half of something like a "heart" and your bestfriend gets the other half so when yoiut together the silly bond is complete. The heart was just an example unless your gay for oe another?…………………….are ya?

ps. im 14 and got my first tattoo when i was 13 one on my ankle and one on my wrist and one on my left hand, my school makes me cover them up for being "gang related" caugh gay caugh,lmfao
ooh. get a tattoo on your ankle! that is the best spot really! get two question marks. one upside d0wn and the other not. put them together so the fit perfectly together. it looks aweosme!

What kind of things do you have in common? Pick something meaningful to the two of you…maybe something that represents a vacation you went on together or some other special event that you can remember.
look up ambigrams. See if a artist can smoosh your two names together artfully. I’m not talking about a word combo like brangelina haha. Just google image search ambigrams and you will understand what I’m talking about.

No one can influence your decisions..A tattoo is for ever,even longer than your friendship may last..I suggest you think long and hard before doing this.Try to if you do decide to get one,to have it placed somewhere so when you are 90,people arent looking at you funny..Cause it will happen!

My best friend and I got matching tattoo’s a couple months ago.
I got love the life you live on the back of my neck, and she got live the life you love on the back of hers.
I like this because it makes sense – it doesn’t need the other one in order to make sense but it sounds complete when it’s together. That’s how I see my best friend. I don’t need her to be complete but I just feel more complete when I’m with her.
