What is a good tattoo to represent becoming a mother?

I really want to get a tattoo to represent recently becoming a mother. I want something totally unique, but that will still reflect my new role as mama. I’m not into stuff like rainbows, hearts and I’d rather it not have any words too. I have a few ideas already but I want to see what ideas anyone else might have. I have several tattoos already so I’m not one to shy away from larger pieces – any suggestions?

okayy i thought this is a cute idea… take a pic of you and ur babys hands next to each other like giving a hi-5 but just placing ur hands on each other….take the pic and go to the artist and he/she will draw it up and its like a memory of you and ur child…
or
get a portrait of your baby when he/she was young and later in life when they are older show them ….
or
ur babys name with their footprints

This is kind of lame but a stork is kind of symbolic cause there’s the legend of them carrying the baby and giving it to the mamas. Sorry if my idea sucks.

Tattoos are really not good for the human body but, maybe a baby carriage or a name of that baby? Hope I helped.:)
I Just got a tattoo of my new daughters name in prechristian celtic writing and am planning onn something else as well! did u think of maybe getting babies birth flower..theres flowers to represent each month! or u could get a pink carnation(flower)…its representitive of a mothers love and is traditionally given to mums on mothers day! or u could get a portrait of ur baby…but make sure to get a really experianced tattooist in portraits if u do decide on this!
i always loved the idea of getting my baby’s foot print / hand print as a tattoo. you want unique–no one Else will have that because its UR baby’s print. its resembles u being a mom. and its none of that usual stuff like rainbows and hearts. you could also get their name tattoed on u.
