What are some good tattoo ideas for a mother and her children?

All my life my mother has been a single parent to me and my sister. Needless to say the 3 of us are VERY close and we’ve been talking about getting matching tattoos. Does anyone have any ideas of a good tattoo that’d work for a female and a male and have special meaning for a mother and her son and daughter?

Why not pick a common theme that applies to all of you… like an interest that you all share and each of you get a tattoo based on that theme. Say that you guys share a love for a particular movie (this is just an example), then you could each get a tattoo of the character that represents you the most, but you would all have it from one theme. (that’s just one example, you can get as intricate with it as you want, for example just today I was thinking about the japanese dragon tattoo that I got last week, well my mom’s chinese zodiac symbol is a dragon. And I was thinking today of something else I could get when I realized that my dad’s chinese zodiac is the tiger. Well my parents are divorced and in japanese mythology the dragon and the tiger don’t get along. now i probably won’t actually do this[just b/c i don't know i'd want to get a tiger the same size as the dragon i got] but, it’s just another example)
