Tattoo…?

I finally decided that I want a very small tattoo after a few years of thinking it over. I want something simple and very girlie, but the problem is I want to work with children so I want to get it somewhere it could be hidden, but where? I would love to get it my hip, but i’m not the tiniest girl, nor the biggest. Where could I possibly get a small tattoo that would not effect me getting a job with children later on?
By chance would anyone know about how much a tattoo would cost me if i were to get it on my hip, and about the size of a quarter?

I have been told at work about keeping my tattoo covered, as it might offend some customers. My boss, at the time, was a complete jackass, as I did not see anyone being offended. But, a supervisor or business owner does have the option to determine whether or not a tattoo is offensive. If you are working with kids, you are of course under the scrutiny of the parents, who might really be old fashioned, and not wish for someone with tattoos to work with thier kids. Some people are like that. Any place that can be covered by modest clothing, should not be a problem.
I really don’t think one tasteful, simple tattoo would be grounds enough for someone not to hire you.
Why don’t you get it on your hip? Who cares how big/small you are.
There are plenty of places for you to put your tattoo. Ribs, hip, lower back, shoulder blade (can be easily covered up), wrist, ankle, thigh, etc.
any where in you pelvic area or middle of your back.
Tattoos are so socially acceptable these days. Unless you want something offensive, you shouldnt have to hide it. aside from working in a tattoo shop, I also am a bartender, and have been a food server where I never cover or covered my arms and I am completely sleeved. Just because you make the choice to put permanent art on you doesnt make you a heathen or a monster.

maybe get it on your upper back i have a fleur de lis on my upper back like in the middle of my shoulder blades. it can easily be hidden & it only shows when i wear a low backed shirt. behind your ear is cute too because you can wear your hair down to hide it. also on top of your foot? i dont think teachers wear sandals to work so that could easily be hidden also. hope you find what your looking for good luck
A cute small angel tattoo would be nice on your shoulder. Can easily hide with short sleeve top. An angel also symbolizes you as a guardian to those children you going to work with.

I think some excellent suggestions have already been made. I have mine on my upper arm/shoulder area where it can be hidden by a short sleeved shirt, due to my workplace not being so lenient on showing tattoos. I think that if they don’t know you have it, it can’t affect your job.
