Ok, so I am planning on getting this gorgeous tat which will extend from right below my knee to my ankle on my outer calf. It has many many different colors and is filled with butterflies and fairies. I know It will be expensive, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a broad idea of how much it will cost and how long a very colorful and large tattoo typically takes so I’m not completely shocked when I walk in to the tattoo shop.
Ok, and also I am not worried about how it will look to others, so that is not an issue. And this is not my first tat, I have two others, but they are not this big. This will be my first big one.

I have a tattoo that my cuzin started and well, we both haven’t had time to finish it. Plus, he lives 2 hours away. I wanna just go to a tattoo shop to finish it and maybe add some to it. Also, I want to get a verse from the bible on my fore-arm. I just wanna know how much would they charge?

I draw well, and my friend recommended me to a tattoo shop where they are looking for a tattoo artist (I hope I’m using the correct term- I mean the person who designs the tattoos and draws them, not the one who actually tattoos you).
What are this job’s requirements, artistically and practically? Do you need to improvise on the spot, or can you design it over a period of time?

I’ve been thinking about getting a matching tattoo with my family. I’m 16, and am looking for a good tattoo shop that will do it with my mom there with me.<br>
Some shops will tattoo minors, and some shops won’t.

I’m just wondering, as I’ve been considering getting my first tattoo sometime soon. Is it common or not really common?
My skin is somewhat sensitive to plant dyes, but I don’t know about any other kinds of dyes or inks. Does this have any relation to how sensitive your skin will be with tattoo inks?
Also, what’s a good way to judge how good a tattoo shop is? I have asked around, but I ended up with a bunch of names of artists and places. I just don’t know how to narrow it down at all.

I live in virginia but that is besides the point. I will travel to get the best tattoo artist to draw and design my tattoo. I would also like them to help me brainstorm and find a place to put it. THE OVERALL BEST TATTOO SHOP!

I want to get this image tattooed on my back shoulder:
http://graphics.fansonly.com/schools/fres/graphics/ncaa-m-tennis/usc-logo.jpg
I was wondering how long it should take, with and without the text above the SC. I want it colored, and ~2 inches tall. Plus, what would an average cost be in California. Lasly, (actullyayi asked it first in the question) where is a good tattoo shop around Simi Valley, CA. I know of think ink in woodland hills, but any of the shops in Simi any good, like 1st Amendment?
P.S.
I am not interested in knowing if you agree w/ my tattoo image, because USC was the best activity i shared with my grandfather before he passed, so i want something to remeber his and my passion, plus i am going to attend USC next year, so it fits me.
