I tend to scratch when I’m deeply asleep and won’t notice it and when I notice it I already scratched my tattoo and I’ve done this to my previous tattoo and it actually tore my tattoo and it was a bit noticable and this is my third tattoo and I don’t want it to tear. How should I cover my tattoo when i go to bed? With a paper towel around my shoulder? I know that tattoos do need air for the healing process. What should I do?
my tattoo is located on the shoulder.
I think I probably have to clip my nails on the left hand because then I won’t scratch. I can’t put a sock on b/c it’s summer and I’ll be sweating too much.
I do sleep with a large t-shirt but then it rises when I sleep. Even if I wear a long sleeve shirt I can still scratch but it won’t be directly to the skin.

This person isn’t dead or anything. It’s just someone who is very special to me, and I will be moving away soon and I don’t know when I will see them again. I bought a rhinestone jewelry tattoo at Claire’s but it didn’t come with any instructions. I really don’t think you put it on the same as the other temporary tattoos, but I really dont know, especially because it has rhinestones and a shape made out in glitter. Does anyone know how to put this type of tattoo on? It is NOT the peel sticker type.

I really want to get a tattoo to represent recently becoming a mother. I want something totally unique, but that will still reflect my new role as mama. I’m not into stuff like rainbows, hearts and I’d rather it not have any words too. I have a few ideas already but I want to see what ideas anyone else might have. I have an idea of a tattoo I want and it will be one that will be added to over time, is this a reasonable idea? I don’t want it to look like multiple tattoos, rather to always look like one tattoo.
The one I have in mind is of a rose vine traveling up and around my leg and around my body till it ends over my heart. Only the last rose will be in full bloom. When you say touch up what do you mean?

I want to get another tattoo on my toe. However, I have to wear sneakers to work. Will covering the tatoo during the healing process mess it up? What special precautions should I take? This will be my third tattoo and the 2nd one on one of my toes. My skin doesn’t hold ink very well so any advice that would help the healing process is greatly appreciated. Any suggestions on creams or lotions would help too.

Probably one of the worst experiences of my life – and if I ever get over it, I want to get a tattoo to remind myself that it is in the past. I don’t wan’t to forget it, it’s a huge part of who I am today. I also want to get it somewhere that is hidden because it is not for other people to see, besides my husband, because I am doing this for myself – not as a decoration.
So I need two suggestions – What I should get and where. I don’t mind words, but I don’t want like an entire verse running down my arm.

All my life my mother has been a single parent to me and my sister. Needless to say the 3 of us are VERY close and we’ve been talking about getting matching tattoos.
