My older brother passed away a few years ago. He had a custom tattoo, basically a skull with flames, and I’ve been thinking about getting the same tattoo or a small replica in memory of him. I’m just not sure if I’m a "skull and flames" kind of guy.

Should I get the same tattoo that he had? Does anyone have any good ideas for other non-religious memorial tattoos? Do you think I should not even get one? Any advice is appreciated

I want a tattoo, and my mom said it’s okay. It’s definitely not one I will regret. My friend just died and I want it in memory of him. What specific parlors in or around Iowa will let you get a tattoo at 16 with parental consent?

I was thinking about getting a tattoo in memory of my grandmother, who passed away few yrs ago. She was an evangelist, so I want something relevant to anything spiritual and tasteful. I want it on my left shoulder, so is that area more or less painful? Any suggestions of what I can get? This is my first tattoo ever!

Is a tattoo with a cross religious discrimination?

I am looking into getting a tattoo in memory of my grandparents who were killed. The tattoo that i am looking at has a cross. I also am planning on entering the air force with hopes of becoming a fighter pilot. In the air force’s tattoo policy it says that tattoos that display religious discrimination are prohibited. I would like to know if a cross is considered to be a symbol of religious discrimination. Is it?

My husband & I had a miscarriage in September 2008. I’m thinking about getting a tattoo in memory of my unborn baby & I’ve been thinking of ideas. What kind of tattoo did you get to represent your unborn child?

I’m designing a tattoo in memory of my parents for my sister and I to both get together. I have a symbol to represent my dad (an Armenian liberty symbol, he was Armenian and wore this symbol on a necklace my whole life), but I can’t come up with one to represent my mom. She was extremely intelligent, the most selfless person I’ve ever met, very caring and compassionate, strong, and loved reading, photography, and interior design. She was of Danish descent but that wasn’t really much a part of her life. She did spend several years of her childhood in Italy, though. Any ideas? Is there a website with good graphics that you know of? Any guidance is much appreciated! Thanks!
