Two people said that it was their least uncomfortable tattoo, but I agree with the last comment that said it was more painful. It was more painful than my hip tattoo, and I think it hurt more because I couldn't see it. What made it less painful for me when I could see the tattoo getting done was I could see how close to finished we were. At the back of the neck, I couldn't tell if any progress was being made, ha. Even though definatley everyone has a different pain tolerance seriously it just depends but if you want it deal with it. Besides it only hurts for th first like 20 minutes then you get pretty numb in a way.. The sides of the neck aren't bad, but right over the nape -- I sure felt it! I'd say it's about a 7 (with the worst tattoo of all being an 8 -- in the crux of my elbow).
