Does anyone know what the symbolism in this tattoo means?
I love this tattoo and there’s obviously a lot of symbolism going on throughout it, but I’d like to know what it actually means. I know that the ‘body’ of the butterfly seems to be a kanji phrase… Anyone know any specifics?
Here’s the tattoo: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://tattoo.about.com/library/graphics/041003h.jpg&imgrefurl=http://tattoo.about.com/cs/tatart/l/bl041003h.htm&usg=__-UG0nGX5-lb4je93Qs7b9adhdvI=&h=365&w=400&sz=47&hl=en&start=2&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=aIzKzID_gQqitM:&tbnh=113&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dkanji%2Bbutterfly%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26ndsp%3D21%26tbs%3Disch:1
