Im 19 years of age and im ready for my 1st tattoo. Many people younger than me already have tattoos, and i know its a pain tolerance..
Where i was wanting to get a tattoo hmm ive been thinking. I want to get something on my back that stretches over my shoulder, or on the back of my arm, or on the side of my stomach. I think i want to start off with sense im " Italian" that i want to get " strength in cursive writing on the side of my stomach. eh yeah pretty big.. Can any one give me some helpful tips before i go and get this and then regret it?

I was wondering how long it should take, with and without the text above the SC. I want it colored, and ~2 inches tall. Plus, what would an average cost be in California. Lasly, (actullyayi asked it first in the question) where is a good tattoo shop around Simi Valley, CA. I know of think ink in woodland hills, but any of the shops in Simi any good, like 1st Amendment?

I am not interested in knowing if you agree w/ my tattoo image, because USC was the best activity i shared with my grandfather before he passed, so i want something to remeber his and my passion, plus i am going to attend USC next year, so it fits me.

I finally decided what tattoo to get but I think I want it on my foot, but I heard it hurts a lot there. Like on top of the foot. I’m designing a tattoo in memory of my parents for my sister and I to both get together. I have a symbol to represent my dad (an Armenian liberty symbol, he was Armenian and wore this symbol on a necklace my whole life), but I can’t come up with one to represent my mom. She was extremely intelligent, the most selfless person I’ve ever met, very caring and compassionate, strong, and loved reading, photography, and interior design. She was of Danish descent but that wasn’t really much a part of her life. She did spend several years of her childhood in Italy, though. Any ideas? Is there a website with good graphics that you know of? Any guidance is much appreciated! Thanks!

I generally have wanted to do game graphics and programming. However a recent thought has struck me. I seen one girl in college that wanted to be a tattoo artist and recently the idea struck me that it might be a neat thing to do. I know the Santa Cruz screaming hang. Is there any other good looking artwork that is close to as known as that. I am in the process of drawing up a sketch I would eventually like to turn into a half sleeve(tattoo). I just want graphics from the glory days of skateboardin(1980s).
