My little sister (18) is considering a small purple and blue tattoo of intertwining vines on the top of her wrist. She asked my opinion on this, but I have never gotten a tattoo and have no clue.

How bad would that hurt? I don’t want here to do something without knowing, and I know she’s relying me for an answer. Is it really a good idea? Would there be a better place for a tattoo?

I don’t have any tattoos but I already came up with two tattoo designs. They’re just lettering.

One will go around my wrist.
The other one will be on the inside of my forearm and I want it to take up all the space so it will be big.

I don’t know what each feather means so can you help me? I’m planning to get a feather tattoo but don’t know what exactly feather? Eagle tattoo, owl, etc? I’m getting a tattoo and birds are flying out to resemble my family. Thanks!

I understand everyone’s body is different, but what is the norm for this sort of thing? I’m planning on getting a tattoo that would go down my ribs and maybe onto my stomach a bit, but I’m worried that when I’m older if I get pregnant it might get messed up. If that’s a strong possibility I would move the location of the tattoo.
If anyone has before and after photos of tattoos like this I would really like to see them, thanks

I am planning on getting my first tattoo soon. I am a regularly shaky person and my fiance says they may not work on me if I cant control it. Im not talking about violent shaking or anything. And it isn’t constant. Just kind of twitchy at times. Will they still work on me? Is there anything they can do to prevent themselves from messing up if i twitch or shake?

I am big on tattoo’s and piercings. 7 tattoo’s and 5 piercings and only 17! Anyway.. I would love to do a proper tattoo’ing course and then be an artist but I can’t draw? Is this important? My tattoo artist NEVER draws my tattoo’s.. they have someone in the shop who specifically does that so is it still possible?

I have a 7" crucifix tattoo on my forearm to show devotion to my faith. I just got a new corporate job and will never show my tattoo during work hours. I am, however, a bit worried a coworker (even my boss) will inevitably see it in town (city of 100,000 and the company employs 1,200 people) and perceive it as unprofessional. Im getting a forearm tattoo next week, and i want to know how to protect it from the sun. I work outdoors for 6 hours in the heat and sunlight. Should i put a cloth bandage over the fresh tattoo? I dont want to wear long sleeve clothing cause it’ll be very very HOT.

I’m turning 18 in a few months, and my birthday present will be a tattoo!! I live in Pottstown, PA. there are a fair amount of tattoo shops around here and the surrounding area. Only problem is half of them are Wizards Tattoos which is a chain of about 4 or 5 shops so i dont think i could get one form them. another thing is I am only 18 and still in school.
