Most tattoo artists have a "specialty." It's not that they aren't good at many styles, it's just that they're great with one (like most artists.)
Find an artist who specializes in portrait tats, ask to look at their portfolio, and ask if they've ever done a Bob Marley tat. Once you find some you are comfortable with and confident in, ask them to work with you, and find a way to personalize the art. Then ask them to sketch it up for you. Don't be afraid to ask them to change things.
Pricing depends on the size and detail of the tat. Lots of detail will "disappear" with age. A large tat may not be as practical if you can't hide it from your boss. A tattoo like the one you're asking for could range from a hundred bucks to four hundred. The best thing is to ask around. It's definitely not always about the best deal. Cheap tattoos often look cheap.
I would recommend the first tattoo you have listed as an example. The second is rather thick and dark, and might not age as well. The third doesn't look anything like Bob Marley.
Good luck!

go around and look at some portfolios of artists who do portrait tattoos. You will get a feel for what they can do that way. Portraits are harder to do simply because of the detail it requires, where as with something like a tribal, its just outlining the design and filling it in. Go and check out the shops and parlors, i can't emphasize this enough. Pricing depends on the shop.

There are a lot of artists that won't attempt portraits.........it is completely different than another tat. They just don't want to make a mistake and/or a bad name for themselves.
There are little mistakes that can be made doing a regular tat
that can be fixed without noticing.
But, a portrait, any little mistake, will show up very much.
You'd better really shop around for a good one. Check out their other portraits.
Take the picture with you............and whatever you do, don't
get a hard outline.
