I am planning on getting a small tattoo on my wrist. I don’t want it to be visible at work so I would probably wear a bracelet over it whenever I’m at work. Would this affect the healing process? How long does a tattoo take to heal on average?

I live in Pottstown, PA. there are a fair amount of tattoo shops around here and the surrounding area. Only problem is half of them are Wizards Tattoos which is a chain of about 4 or 5 shops so i dont think i could get one form them. another thing is I am only 18 and still in school.

My friend drew a really cool tattoo on my forearm with a Sharpie. I really like the tattoo and I would like to keep it for another day, but I’ll have to take a shower tomorrow morning. Is there any way I can keep it from washing off or fading in the shower?

Hi, my name is Kevin and I’m 17. 18 in September. In two weeks I’m getting two tattoo’s, 1 on each forearm, going across. The very top of my inner forearm right under the elbow crease. I’m getting my Mothers name on my right arm and my Grandmothers name on my left arm, Marsha and Jennie. I’m just wondering if this is a stupid idea? If i will regret getting these. My goal in life is to attend a trade school for Networking and computer Graphics, but in the meantime I plan on getting a job at a fast food place or a small diner/resturant. Will these two tatt’s effect working at mcdonalds/jack in the box ect. oh and will people look at me dirty or look at me as a bum? They’re going to be in cursive fonts. I’m a Half black kid who dress’s like a skater and i have Inch Gauges in both ears. I’m not worried about about looking like a thug, just looking dirty and run down. Please excuse my bad grammer, i’m just to lazy to care (just wrote 2 essays and sick of fixin’ chit)

I am looking to get a tattoo. I do not want it to stretch much. Will a tattoo on the back on my shoulder blade stretch much. I realize that all tattoos will stretch a little bit. But will it stretch as much. Also what other spots will not stretch much?
Also do you think a tattoo on the side just to the right/left of the abs would stretch?

My older brother passed away a few years ago. He had a custom tattoo, basically a skull with flames, and I’ve been thinking about getting the same tattoo or a small replica in memory of him. I’m just not sure if I’m a "skull and flames" kind of guy.
Should I get the same tattoo that he had? Does anyone have any good ideas for other non-religious memorial tattoos? Do you think I should not even get one? Any advice is appreciated

I have heard that it is an old-fashioned Navy tattoo that can represent freedom and I love that idea. My boyfriend is going into the Navy and I want something to represent how much I support him, how much he means to me and how I want him to stay safe when he gets deployed. But I also want to make sure that I won’t attract gangs members or anything like that. Help is greatly appreciated!

I am a girl who is 18 in less than a month and I really want a tattoo I look on the internet all the time and its all the same things and most of them are too big and look stupid.
I want a tattoo that I can have the initials of my grandparents on as two of them have passed away and i want something to symbolize them. I don’t want any thing too big just something simple and quite small and in a place where it wont always be on show.

next month for my 20th B-day my mom was gonna pay to get me a Tattoo on my arm of my Dog that died last years. I think im gonna put that off now tho tell i get my arms pumped up a little more so the tat well look better.
