My wife has mentioned several times over the last few years she wanted to get a second tattoo. she has one on her shoulder and she wanted one on her ankle. Which I was not really okay with but was getting used to the idea until she came home last friday with two new tattoos one on her shoulder and the other on her forearm. She had mentioned about a month a go she wanted to get another tattoo and she never talked to me about this after that. When she cam home I was upset because she didn’t answer her phone all day and was supposed to be home by noon so I was worried about what had happened then I find out she got two tattoos and now I am stuck looking at the one on her arm all the time( I have always disliked tattoos and she has known this even before we got married. Like I stated before I was getting used to the idea of one on her ankle and would like to have designed it so It could me something to both of us since the one on her ankle goes all the way around her ankle and has our three boys names in it but it stand alot higher than she had ever shown me before and I would like to have had it about 1/2 in high not 1 1/2 inches tall but the tattooist couldn’t design it any smaller supposedly. So now it really stands out and she had all ways told me she wanted it to look like an ankle bracelet. The one on her arm she tells me know that she has wanted it for a long time but I feel she is rubbing it in my face since I didn’t want her to get another tattoo because how I feel about them and what I think they make her look like. i asked her to get the one on her arm removed for sure since I have to see it as a reminder of her going behind my back. But I offered if she got both removed we could design a tattoo for her ankle that would look better first of all and then be smaller like an ankle bracelet and still include our children’s names with a little more graphics in it. I don’t want to be controlling but I feel we both have to look at each other all the time and we should both get to like what we see and not have thing within our control getting in the way of that.

I’ve read that the color can bleed on palm tattoos and that they tend to fade faster.

Does that mean fade away to nothing? How long would that take for that to happen (weeks, months, years)?

Is one place on the palm better than another, to get a good solid bright tattoo that stays? Maybe the base of the thumb? Or, right below the fingers?

And, would this be more or less painful than a tattoo on other body parts?

For a tattoo is it okay to bring a printed picture off the internet of the design you want(not someone else with the tattoo but a picture of the design)? Does that show your not committed to your tattoo and frowned upon or is it okay. I couldn’t find the picture i wanted specifically on anything i owned so i found a good representation on the internet.

Also, if Quarterhorses are tattooed can Appendix Quarterhorses be as well?

Do they only tattoo those that race, or almost all of them?

Is there any way that you can check if they have ever raced from the tattoos?

I would really like to figure out what the hell this boy is, ’cause nobody can quite figure it out and he doesn’t look particularly like any breed of racehorse, he’s just kind of a giant with slight Thoroughbred looks. I was very surprised to see the hint of a tattoo on his lip when he was playing around making faces, and I checked and it is a racing tattoo.
Robin R you can’t even see that tattoo unless you’re looking for it, it’s under their upper lip. It’s not just some random thing you do to horses, it’s for those that race.

I got my tattoo on Sunday (12/30). How long should I wait before I go to a tanning salon. I know when I do, I need to apply lots of sunscreen to my tattoo.

I’m having difficulty putting my love for him into tattoo form. But I need a tattoo to dedicate to him, because he has saved my life single handedly.

I really want a star and heart with a zebra print in one and a leopard print in the other but I am having a hard time finding and actual stencil or something similar to take to my tattoo artist. I keep finding actual pictures of people’s tattoos but not a stencil or regular picture that could be used for tattoos.

Im going into the guard as 19D, being as Guard soldiers only drill like one weekend a month i could see that a military tattoo would be a bit extreme. I wouldnt even want one if it was just a weekend drill thing, But the unit im going to be with is getting deployed right after ill graduate from basic. Do u think it would be morally wrong to get a Cavalry Skull tattoo before we deploy? I was thinking of this one.

I have 3 tattoos, and everytime I get one, the tattoo artist tells me to put something different on it, my uncle does tattoos in California, and I always saw him putting Vaseline on them. But places I have went to say not to. I am about to get another tattoo and want to know what I should put on it to keep the coor from fading out and keep it from itching.

I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for a couple years now but I was always wondering if certain places for tattoos would hurt more than others. I want to get a tattoo on my right shoulder blade but I don’t know if it would be unbearably painful or not. Any advice or insight?
