I want a new tattoo behind my ear. I want something as in "turning over a new leaf" or a new beginning. Of course something small so I can’t do too much with it but I need ideas. How could I represent starting over almost like a rebirth? I am open to any and all ideas.

I want some ideas on a tattoo my husband and i can get together. It can be based on marriage, unity, love quotes,or anything else . Some ideas we have came up with involve the date we married, maybe mixed in with where we met but im not sure how that would work. Any ideas would be helpful.

I have a tattoo on my back of a frog and I would like to use it as my logo. So I need to be able to put it on web sites and business cards. I can only guess I need it with a transparent back ground. I do not draw and this is a one of a kind tattoo. Are there any sites or information out there to get this done? I need to be able to make this part of a background so I will also need to change it’s color from black. And please do not say just do it in paint shop.. I tried I need instruction.

I’m 14 years old and have been planning on getting a sentimental tattoo for my dad who passed a little over a year ago. I heard that you can get a tattoo with parental consent if you’re 14, but I also heard shops kind of have their own rules for parental consent. If anyone knows of a law there is in Nevada please let me know. Thanks.

I will be getting a tattoo on my foot in a couple of weeks. It will be 3 stars, and it will prob stretch across my middle of my foot, and towards the top. I already have a big tribal tattoo on my lower back. Do you think my foot tattoo will hurt more than my lower back did? Also, my g/f is getting a tattoo on her foot with me, she’s never had a tattoo before, do you think this is a good first tattoo?

I plan on it being as small as possible. The tattoo itself is going to consist of a few words. Its either going to be my favorite quote, my favorite lyric, or something in latin. I wanted to get my first tattoo. I have been struggling with ideas that could represent my daughter. I would like a clock tattoo with her name and birth date. The time on the clock would read 7:16 and 8 seconds. I’ve tried to find the meaning of clock tattoos however the only meaning I’ve come across is one of a prison tat, without hands. Just wanted to see if a clock with hands had some sort of different meaning.

What advise would you give for me fufilling my dream of being a tattoo artist?

i’m 15 and try my best in graphics and art, and everything else as i realise all subjects are important, i also practise drawing lots, and look at tattoo designs on the net.

and i watch miami ink… what other good tat. magazines/books/shows are there??

Forget the damn butterflies, the black (terribly drawn) panther on the calve or the double hearts on the upper arm. I’ve seen plenty of tacky tattoos, but the tackiest of all was a woman with a Tweety tattoo (not kidding!) Can you top this one?

I’m planning on getting a tattoo on my abdomen and i have a small, flat (not raised), brown birthmark, its kind of just a different pigment to my natural skin colour, and i was wondering if theres any danger in tattooing over it? Thanks in advance.

I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time. I never knew exactly what I wanted. One month, I would find one/think of one I would really like, and the next month it wasn’t as interesting. I finally know I want a tattoo that is Bob Marley related. A photo of him and I guess a few other things to personalize it.

My concern is finding a tattoo artist in Northern Indiana that I have confindence in to actually draw Bob Marley on my arm with out making it look all jacked up.

I guess my question is how much more difficult is it for a tattoo artist to do a portrait as compare to lets say a tribal design? Should I not settle for just any tattoo artist with business? Price Estimate?
