I’ve been researching tattoos and am still in the process of selecting what I want for my first tattoo. Right now I am planning to take a trip to Hawaii which I have not been back to since the first year of my life, once there I would like to get my first tattoo but in the meantime I wanted to know if there was a way to find an artist there from my home in California.

I am thinking about getting a tribute tattoo, to my daughter and my boyfriend. What are some good sites for graphics and do you have any suggestions about location or style? I love the water and love frogs, dolphins, angels, fairy’s, girly stuff…

I know how you have to go about becoming a tattoo artist, but my problem is that I have to be able to survive on my own in the process. I really, really want to become a tattoo artist and I think that I have the talent to do it! I love everything about the industry, I have tattoos and piercings, I have get along well with people already in the industry… Mainly, I am afraid that if I become an apprentice, I will have to leave my full time job, with great benefits, and get a really, really bad paying part time job and not be able to pay my bills. Does anyone have some answers or words of advice that would help me in my quest?

Is there really a difference between tattoo ink’s in reference to I guess the cheap stuff or not as popular brands?. Some tattoo ink’s have the money to advertise, but are they really better if so what brand of tattoo ink would you recommend that is the good stuff. Thanks in advance.
For those that want to talk smack FU. Go somewhere else and get your rocks off.

I just got a tattoo yesterday (Sunday) and my family and I are planning on going to an amusement park (Cedar Point) this Saturday. I was wondering if I could go on the water rides, since I will have only had my tattoo for a week by then? Would it be dangerous? If I brought alcohol wipes to wipe the tattooed area off after each ride, would it be more safe then? The tattoo is very small on my wrist, please let me know! Thanks!

I am thinking about getting some sort of small celtic cross tattoo on the inside of my wrist. This would be my first tattoo. I’ve heard that this is one of the more sensitive area’s to get a tattoo. Is this true? I’m also in college studying to be some sort of early childhood teacher, so do you think that I would be looked down upon more so than if I didn’t have a visable tattoo? Thanks for any serious answers!
If not the inside of the wrist, what other places would you suggest?

I’m going to be getting a job as an exotic dancer soon. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I am under the impression that all exotic dancers have tattoos.
What would be a good tattoo for me to get?

I’m planning on getting a tattoo on my foot this Friday morning. I know tattoos scab up and that if the scab gets pulled off it affects the inking of the tattoo. I have soccer practice the following Tuesday in the late evening. By wearing my cleats, will the rubbing ruin the tattoo? Even if it’s wrapped?

My best-friend and I have been friends for 15 years. I turned 18 a few months ago and we have been talking about getting matching tattoos to symbolize our friendship ever since. The problem is we are having trouble picking out the tattoo. We have looked at words, phrases, symbols, and pictures. Does anyone have any cute ideas for a tattoo that symbolizes friendship for two girls?

I know the Santa Cruz screaming hang. Is there any other good looking artwork that is close to as known as that. I am in the process of drawing up a sketch I would eventually like to turn into a half sleeve(tattoo). I just want graphics from the glory days of skateboardin(1980s). I wish I could have been around then to skate.

I’m getting a tattoo soon, and I am positive that I want one. The only thing I’m worried about is getting hepatitis- a blood disease that I’ve heard could be easily passed along when getting a tattoo- much easier to get than AIDS. I’m very, very nervous about this.
Does anyone know what the chances are of getting hepatitis from a tattoo? Do you know anyone who’s gotten it from a tattoo? Or maybe you did? I just need all the information i can get about hepatitis, how it is contracted, etc. The place I’m going for my tattoo says that the tattoo artists have been vaccinated with hepatitis A and B shots. So that being said, how much of a chance is there? And isn’t there a hepatitis C?
